Crews vs individuals
Some businesses assign work to a named person. Others send a crew and do not much care which three people are in the van. Field Wizard does both, and you choose per company.
Which to use
Individuals if the person matters: licensed trades, service calls where the customer expects the same technician, anything where the record needs a name against it.
Crews if the team matters: a landscaping route, a framing crew, a pipeline patrol. Assign to the crew and whoever is on it that day picks it up.
Both if you genuinely run both models — a service department and an installation department, say.
Set this in Settings, under the scheduling options.
Building a crew
Create the crew and add members. A person can be on more than one. Changing who is on a crew does not retroactively change jobs already completed — the record keeps who actually submitted it.
What lands on the record
Either way, the submission records the individual who filled the form in. Crew assignment decides who can pick the job up; it does not blur who did the work.
